Here are a few GREAT BUYS I stumbled across while casually shopping.

These earings are such a vintage piece with a contemporary feel to them
I just had to get them and on clearance for only 2.99!





When you find something Great you have to get it in another color, RIGHT?



These little hair clips are sooo perfect (old navy 1.99) for natural hair or any type hair.
When I wear pin ups or updos I love adding clips to give that extra umph to my style.




And last, my leopard maxi skirt from J C Penneys,
I love love love this skirt and equally love leopard print (what fashionista doesn't),
This skirt was marked down to 14.99 and I got an extra 20% off!

All things natural: Natural hair pics

Hello,
I have decided to post pics of my many styles I wear as a fellow naturalista! Here I have the majority curly styles with only a couple of straight looks since I have only pressed my hair once in the 2+ years I have been natural. As I have stated, I will blog about everything, not just clothes, not just hair and not just makeup. I believe all three things are a huge part of fashion and they each play equal roles in fashion. Product review: Curls unleashed moisterizing conditioner

Ok, sooo...I know I haven't posted in while well I am back with a Product Review!

I had the pleasure of trying out this new natural line from organic root stimulator and I must say the results were amazing! It left my hair very manageable and soft. I could even finger comb through my hair before I began my detangling process. So, with that being said this is my new fav conditioner. I have poste pics take a look see. I hope like.

Ootd: Wear to work (casual)

This was an outfit I wore earlier this week to work. My hair is in a fro pinned up on the sides with a champagne colored head band I bought from xxi.

             Necklace- target
             Nautical striped tank- target
             Jeans- xxi
            
Hair tip: you can always add a cute accessory to your hairstyle to complete any outfit or just spruce up a reg fro.

Moving day: ootd

Ok, so Saturday was a day I set aside to finally get some things moved into my apartment. I wasn't moving around too much and plus my son's b-ball game was later on so I decided on this really comfy colorblock dress I bought from Target and I accessorized with this chunky necklace. It was also a no makeup day for me as I would be moving a few things I dreaded it with this Texas heat. My hair is an old twist out (about a week) and has reverted back to it's natural curls so I have a curly fro with a huge bow headband. See below:

Sataurday night coils...

Hello curlies and fashionistas,
I was out this past sat for a night of fun with friends and fam and decided to play it casual. I had so much fun and it was a night to remember! I had on a sleeveless tangerine shirt with a bow front tie I got from Target, my shoes (which I could never fit in the pic) also came from target (pic below) and denim skinnies are forever 21. The next time I wear this fit I will be pairing this top with a nice blazer for work. (thinking of a pop color now...hmmm)

My hair was a twist out done using taliah waajid for the first time and it came out pretty ok...review coming soon. All in all I had an awesome night!
Remember: many pieces look great by themselves and can easily be paired with blazer or cardigan for a sophisticated look. Until next time...

OOTD: ACCENT COLORS

Morning fashionistas,
I just wanted to show you all a quick ootd. Today I am rocking:
               Long pink blazer- j c penny
               white cami- chick o holics
               jeans- target
               turquoise necklace- target
               turquoise flats- target
My hair is up in a high ball at the back and pompadour in the front.
Remember, don't forget to mix colors...and accent a bold color with a bold color (sometimes it works)! Turquoise is a great accent color!
